An American cuisine with Italian influences. A very cozy dining area with two main fireplaces for a warm ambiance. A separate bar/lounge area serving happy hour and a large deck during the summer. Breakfast is served for the morning hours.
Look for daily specials and a wide range of entree's and appetizers to satisfy your pallet. Check out their great happy hour specials. They have live music but the schedule varies so call ahead.

Reviewed by MtbphotoRafters for dinner is a treat. Although it can be pricy, their pasta is incredible, and their portions aren't enormous like alot of places these days. Their wine menu is always good, and the staff is always helpful with recommendations. It's a great place to hang out at the bar for a drink too.
My favorite part of Rafters is their new breakfast though. Especially when it was half off for a few months in the fall. Their breakfast menu is incredible (Eggs Benedict and Duck for breakfast? Why yes, thank you!) Even less extravagant items like Beligian waffles are a tasty hit in my crowd. I would highly recommend.

Reviewed by lorijeanneI went in on Friday night and both the dining and bar area had a good vibe. I went alone and ordered their rib eye steak with mushroom & squash risotto and then ordered a side of their brussels sprouts. It was very good but very rich so come with a good appetite. This meal was large so I recommend sharing it with another person. On this special occasion, my dog was my plus 1 and enjoyed the left over steak.

Reviewed by SwitzrLndGot off to a late start on Sunday morning and wanted breakfast. I know, a tough thing to get in town without waiting a while.
We have been wanting to try Rafters for breakfast for a while so we gave it a try but with no luck. They had already cut off taking more tables for breakfast as we were told they were going to start preparing for their lunch reservations. Good they had more business they could handle but bummer for us.
We settled for a bowl of cereal and headed down to Bishop for an early lunch.

After the 4th of July Parade, we parked ourselves on the deck at Rafters and enjoyed a few beers listening to the live Reggae band they had. Enjoyed the experience. Thanks!

Reviewed by real mccoyGood for Rafters; The long closed restuarant i spent many Saturday nights in back in the day, is remade and was a great experience for dinner with friends.
We had dinner early, and it was great food (calamari, winter squash and lump crab soup, egg fetuchini & duck...all delicious). Prices could be 25% less on dinner..appetizers were a fair price.
The bar feels cozy, good ratio of tables to bar space, the fire in the middle of the room was blazing and the drinks were good. There was Jazz on tap for Saturday night, although we didn't stay for it.
I'll go again.
