Great bar, Great food, Nice employees, And everyones favorite DJ, Lamont. What more can you ask for?
They have a great menu. The locals favorite appetizer is the calimari. Its really good. They have burger specials, and an awesome selection of stir frys. There is always something going on at Lakas. Like kareoke? Come down on Thursday nights.

Reviewed by sd_bodyboarderHad their tacos for the 1st time this week. They are very good and I believe they were $2 each. For sure a good bet. Not as sloppy as they could be but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Reviewed by sd_bodyboarderI'm not really into the nightlife and bar scene anymore (trust me, I've had plenty of memorable times in Laka as have seen many fights) so I mainly go there for their Happy Hour food and drink. Everything on their menu during Happy Hour is $5 and under! And I'm not talking about weak sauce proportions, everything is a good size. 1 thing is usually good for me unless I'm really hungry. They have ribs, burger w/ fries, fish and chips, wings, etc. They have deals on Mammoth Brewing Co. beers as well as other. Have a couple Mai Tai's, they will whip your butt.
