How great is this?! Caltrans is asking for the opinion of those who travel most on HWY 395 our preferred type of highway to drive on through the Olancha/Cartago stretch.

That's right! Before construction begins on HWY 395, they would like your help in deciding what type of 4 lane road would be the best in your opinion.

Lots that go into this type of decision - the effect it will have on the businesses and the scenery, driving safety, traveling comfort and so much more.

There is a very brief survey on the Caltrans website offering you three road types to choose from listing the pro's and con's of each. You pick one, submit your entry, and that is it.

If you visit Mammoth frequently, you care about the drive on the 395 so take 60 seconds and share your opinion. It will make a difference!
